Our Punto Sur restaurant offers a fusion of International and Panamanian delights, which are prepared by Executive Chefs. Guests are asked to make dinner menu choices in the afternoon each day, choosing from a select menu of freshly prepared local specialties, as well as international dishes, crafted from local, seasonal produce where possible, and seafood caught just off shore.
Help yourself to orange juice, seasonal fruit (mango, papaya, pineapple and watermelon) or the morning continental breakfast. All provided at no charge.
You can also order a dish from the à la carte menu such as Eggs Benedict, exotic omelets, pancakes or customize your order with all the trimmings as an extra charge.
The Chiriquí Province of Panama is famous for its coffee plantations, which supply Cala Mia with our choice beans. The famous Panama brands can be purchased from our gift store.
Lunch is served at our Punto Sur Restaurant. In addition to the Punto Sur Restaurant, the Luna Azul Beach Bar includes its own selection of lighter selections including Cala Mia ceviche, panini sandwiches or fresh Pizza, BBQ shrimp and burgers from its large grill and clay oven.
If you’re taking advantage of the numerous getaways exploring the outer islands our staff can make you a picnic lunch with your selections of food and drinks.
Dishes range from $12-$20.
Tables are candlelit with pretty arrangements of fresh flowers. It’s the perfect setting for our exotic seafood selections and meat selections. We have also developed an extensive vegetarian / vegan menu. And don’t forget dessert with Chef Specialties like Passionfruit cheesecake, or the homemade ice cream.
Every evening dinner is served at 7.30 pm. A three-course meal is offered and guests select their entrée from the daily specials. The experience starts with fresh baked bread, followed by an appetizer, your selection from two entrées and finishes with our dessert special or fresh fruit. The cost for all courses is $40 per person, less if some courses are excluded.
