Our Punto Sur restaurant offers a fusion of International and Panamanian cuisine, which are professionally prepared by our Executive Chefs. Guests are asked to make dinner menu choices in the afternoon each day, choosing from a select menu of either freshly prepared traditional Panamanian food or international dishes crafted from the best local, seasonal produce—and our seafood caught just offshore! Help yourself to freshly-squeezed orange juice, seasonal fruits such as mango, papaya, pineapple, and watermelon, or a delicious morning continental breakfast. All provided at no charge!
You can also order a dish from the à la carte menu such as Eggs Benedict, exotic omelets, and pancakes. You can also customize your order with all your favorite trimmings as an extra charge.
The Chiriquí Province of Panama is famous for its coffee plantations, which supply Cala Mia with our choice beans. These famous Panamanian brands can be purchased from our gift store.
Lunch is served at our Punto Sur Restaurant. In addition to the Punto Sur Restaurant, the Luna Azul Beach Bar includes its own selection of lighter choices including Cala Mia ceviche, panini sandwiches, fresh Pizza, BBQ shrimp, and burgers from its large grill and clay oven.
If you’re taking advantage of the numerous getaways exploring the outer islands, our staff can make you a picnic lunch with your selections of food and drinks.
Dishes range from $12-$20.
Tables are candlelit with beautiful arrangements of fresh flowers. It’s the perfect setting for our exotic selections of meat and locally-sourced seafood. We have also developed an extensive vegetarian / vegan menu. And don’t forget dessert with wonderful Chef Specialties such as Passionfruit cheesecake or the homemade ice cream.
Every evening dinner is served at 7:30 pm. A three-course meal is offered, and guests select their entrée from the daily specials. The experience starts with freshly baked bread followed by an appetizer, your selection of two entrées, and finishes with either our dessert special or fresh fruit. The cost for all courses is $40 per person, less if some courses are excluded.
